[Solved] “Outlook.ost is in use and Cannot be Accessed”

You can some times get ‘Outlook.ost is in use and Cannot be Accessed’ when trying to perform certain Outlook functions if you are running Outlook in Admin mode.

 

to check if you are. Right click your Outlook shortcut, click properties and then under the Compatibility tab uncheck “run this program as administrator”
