Hey Dad,
We’ve had some good times and some bad,
But I’ll never forget all the fun we had.
Wake up in the middle of the night, have freezies in your bed,
You’d get me some… child aspirin for my head.

Fathers are there when you’re small to carry you home
And to make sure you’re never left alone
Fathers are there to photograph your first day of school
To make you do your homework even if the other kids say it’s uncool
Fathers are there to tell you to learn to play guitar
And to teach you how to drive a car
